Commissioning Site Manager – Data Centers
📍 Locations: TX, NY, CA OR USA
$200K–$250K Base (DOE) + Equity + Full Benefits
My client a rapidly growing infrastructure and AI-focused organization that is building next-generation hyperscale data centers to support some of the world’s most advanced AI environments.
Seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager with strong mission critical experience leading Level 1–5 commissioning activities across large-scale data center projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commissioning efforts across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, BMS, and EPMS systems
- Act as the Owner’s Commissioning Site Manager coordinating contractors, vendors, engineers, and stakeholders
- Manage pre-functional testing, integrated systems testing, startup, troubleshooting, and validation
- Oversee commissioning for critical systems including:
- Chillers, CRAHs, Cooling Towers, AHUs, Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Water Treatment Systems
- Generators, UPS Systems, Switchgear, ATS/STS, Transformers, PDUs, Busways, Battery Systems, EPMS
- Validate sequence of operations, flushing, pressure testing, balancing, and performance testing
- Diagnose and resolve startup and operational issues across mission critical infrastructure
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hyperscale or mission critical data center commissioning experience
- Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, BCxA, and/or NETA testing standards preferred
- Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical commissioning activities
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
- Engineering degree preferred but equivalent industry experience considered
