Timelines depend on seniority and how niche the role is, but Clear typically delivers a technically screened shortlist within seven to fourteen days of brief. From shortlist to signed offer is generally a further three to six weeks, with the heaviest variable being client interview pace rather than the search itself.

Retained search involves a staged fee aligned to delivery milestones, full market mapping and exclusive engagement. Contingent recruitment is fee on placement with no commitment from the agency to prioritise the search. Clear offers both. Retained is better suited to senior, specialist or critical hires where depth of search matters; contingent suits broader vacancies with active candidate pools.

Every applicant is technically vetted by a consultant who specialises in the discipline, not a generalist sourcer. Screening covers genuine critical infrastructure experience, project track record, right to work, salary expectations and motivation. Shortlists are delivered with consultant commentary so hiring managers see the reasoning behind each recommendation.
