The role

A construction services firm with an active data center portfolio is looking for an Electrical Engineer with solid MV and LV design experience to join their team remotely. This is a mid-level position with real project ownership and room to grow. The work is focused on large-scale critical facilities and the pipeline is strong.

If you have three or more years of electrical design experience and want to move deeper into the data center space with good pay, full remote flexibility, and a bonus on top, this is a strong opportunity.

What you will be doing

• Design medium and low voltage electrical systems for data center and large-scale critical facility projects
• Develop power distribution systems, one-line diagrams, load calculations, and equipment specifications
• Select and specify switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, ATS, and standby generator systems
• Produce construction documents and coordinate across engineering disciplines throughout design and delivery
• Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders during construction phases
• Support site visits and construction administration as required
• Work closely with senior engineers and project teams on active programmes

What we need from you

• 3 or more years of electrical engineering design experience in construction
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Solid understanding of MV and LV power distribution systems
• Familiarity with data center electrical infrastructure including switchgear, UPS, generators, and ATS
• Working knowledge of NEC and relevant electrical codes and standards
• PE license or EIT working toward licensure
• AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Bluebeam
• Able to work independently and manage your own priorities in a remote environment
