Our client, a rapidly growing AI infrastructure company, is seeking an experienced Data Centre Project Manager to join their team in Austin, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data centre projects from inception through commissioning and handover.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations.
  • Oversee contractors, vendors, consultants, and third-party partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Drive project execution across new builds, retrofits, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure schedule and budget adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery processes.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing mission-critical or data centre construction projects.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale data centre, mission-critical, or complex infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, electrical infrastructure, cooling systems, and critical facility operations.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and project financials.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on hyperscale, colocation, or AI-focused data centre projects.
  • Previous experience managing greenfield developments, retrofit projects, or live facility upgrades.
  • Familiarity with commissioning and startup processes within mission-critical environments.
  • Experience working within high-growth technology or infrastructure organizations.
