The messaging program
These terms apply to the Clear Recruitment SMS messaging program (the "Program"). By opting in, you agree to these terms. The Program is operated by Clear Engineering Recruitment Limited, trading as Clear Recruitment.
The Program sends recurring automated marketing and informational text messages (SMS) to candidates who have applied for a role through our website and chosen to receive them. The messages include job alerts, new role notifications, and updates about your application and interviews.
How to opt in
You opt in by ticking the SMS consent checkbox on our job application form and submitting your application. The checkbox is not ticked by default, and ticking it is never a condition of applying for any role. Providing this consent is your express written agreement to receive the messages described above at the mobile number you provided.
Opting in takes two steps. After you tick the box and submit, we send one confirmation text. You must reply YES to confirm. You will only receive recurring messages after you reply YES, and we will not send you any marketing texts until you do.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency may vary depending on the roles and updates relevant to you.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Clear Recruitment does not charge you for the messages, but your carrier's standard rates still apply.
Opting out and getting help
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one final message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive any further messages unless you opt in again.

Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with the subprocessors that operate our messaging service, such as our SMS provider, is permitted solely to deliver the service. All other categories of data sharing exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.

Carrier liability
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS terms from time to time. This version was last updated on 10 June 2026. Continued participation in the Program after an update means you accept the revised terms.
