Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer in European Union

Denmark & Sweden

Contract 6 - 12 months

We are currently seeking three experienced Mechanical and Electrical QA/QC Lead Engineers to join our client, a specialist contractor delivering a major data centre project in Denmark and another project in Sweden.

This is an urgent requirement, and candidates should ideally be available to mobilise within 2–3 weeks. Earlier availability is preferred, though candidates with slightly longer notice periods may still be considered depending on experience.

Working Monday to Friday 10 hour days, rotation 3/1.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of mechanical and/or electrical installations to ensure compliance with project and client standards
• Support system walkdowns and assist with punch list identification and close-out
• Compile, review, and finalise QA/QC and turnover documentation packs
• Review and mark up drawings to reflect as-built conditions where required
• Ensure installations comply with project specifications, GMP requirements, and quality standards
• Work closely with commissioning, construction, and documentation teams to support efficient system handover
• Identify and escalate quality issues, supporting timely resolution

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant mechanical or electrical qualification, trade background, diploma, or engineering degree
• Previous experience in QA/QC, inspections, walkdowns, commissioning support, or turnover activities on industrial, pharmaceutical, data centre, or other highly regulated / complex construction projects
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation processes and handover/turnover procedures
• Experience working with drawings, documentation systems, and standard digital reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across project teams
