E&I Lead – 12-Month Contract

Location: Germany

Duration: 12 Months

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 10 hours per day

Site Requirement: 100% On-Site (5 Days per Week)


We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Lead to join a major project in Germany on a 12-month contract basis. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a strong technical background and extensive experience delivering electrical and instrumentation systems from design through commissioning.


Key Responsibilities -

  • Lead and coordinate all E&I activities across the project lifecycle.
  • Review and manage electrical and instrumentation designs in accordance with EU standards and project specifications.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning (CX) activities.
  • Ensure all systems are delivered in compliance with applicable European codes and regulations.
  • Develop and implement testing procedures and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and subcontractors.
  • Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure safe execution of works.
  • Interface with clients, engineering teams, and commissioning personnel to ensure successful project delivery.


Requirements -

  • Proven experience working as an E&I Lead on large-scale industrial, pharmaceutical, data centre, or mission-critical projects.
  • Strong hands-on approach with the ability to support field activities when required.
  • Extensive knowledge of European electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience with:
  • Electrical and instrumentation design reviews.
  • Commissioning (CX) activities.
  • FAT, SAT, and system testing requirements.
  • Loop checks and functional testing.
  • QA/QC and documentation processes.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Eligibility to work within the EU is non negotiable.
