Senior Electrical Engineer in Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex

The role

An established engineering firm with a varied and high-profile project portfolio is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer based in the Dallas/Irving area. You will be working across some of the most interesting building types in the market , stadiums, aviation facilities, and data centers, on projects that demand real electrical engineering depth rather than routine commercial work.

This is an on-site role with a collaborative team environment and a benefits package that goes well beyond the standard. If you have seven or more years of LV and MV design experience and want to work on projects with genuine scale and variety, this is worth a conversation.

What you'll be doing

• Design low and medium voltage electrical systems across a diverse portfolio of large-scale commercial and critical facility projects
• Develop power distribution systems, one-line diagrams, load calculations, and equipment specifications
• Select and specify MV switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, ATS, and standby generator systems
• Produce construction documents and coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines throughout design and delivery
• Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders during construction
• Conduct site visits and provide construction administration support
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers on the team
• Work directly with clients and project stakeholders to deliver technically sound and cost-effective solutions

What we need from you

• 7 or more years of electrical engineering design experience in construction
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong LV and MV design background, power distribution, switchgear, transformers, standby power systems
• Experience across varied building types, large commercial, institutional, industrial, or critical facilities
• PE license preferred; strong EIT candidates considered
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and Bluebeam
• Comfortable working on-site in Irving or Dallas full-time
