Design Project Manager at Clear in Denmark (Remote)

Contract: Freelance – 12 months

Working Pattern: 5 days per week

Rate: Up to €500 per day

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Design Project Manager to join a client-side team working on a major data centre project.

This is a 12-month freelance opportunity, working on a full-time basis with the flexibility of being fully remote.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing and coordinating the design process throughout the project, working closely with designers, consultants, contractors and key client stakeholders to ensure design delivery remains aligned with programme, quality and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the design process across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor design deliverables against programme and project requirements.
• Identify and manage design risks, issues and interfaces.
• Lead design coordination meetings and track actions through to completion.
• Work closely with the client and wider project team to ensure design requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
• Review design progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate design changes and manage their impact on programme and delivery.
• Maintain strong communication between design, construction and project management teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Design Project Manager / Design Manager.
• Previous experience working on data centre or other complex mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Experience managing consultants, designers and project stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently within a client-side project environment.
• Available to commit to 5 days per week for the duration of the contract.
