Location: Milan, Italy

Salary: Up to €75k + rotation package

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of hyperscale data centre projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced MEP / CSA Quantity Surveyor to join a major project in Milan. The R

oleAs Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role within the commercial team, supporting the successful delivery of a major hyperscale data centre project. You will be responsible for the commercial management of MEP and/or CSA packages from procurement through to final account, ensuring strong cost control, contractual compliance, and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with Project Directors, Commercial Managers, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives, providing commercial support and helping drive project profitabili

ties• Manage MEP and/or CSA subcontract packages from procurement through to final acc

ount• Prepare tender packages, analyse subcontractor returns, and support procurement strate

gies• Negotiate subcontract agreements and attend pre-award meet

ings• Manage subcontractor payments, valuations, variations, claims, and final acco

unts• Produce accurate monthly cost reports, forecasts, and commercial upd

ates• Support project budgeting and cost control activi

ties• Prepare and submit client valuations and applications for pay

ment• Monitor commercial risks and opportunities throughout project deli

very• Manage change control processes and maintain contractual entitle

ment• Attend commercial, project, client, and subcontractor meet

ings• Resolve commercial issues and support dispute resolution when requ

ired• Measure works from drawings and prepare package pricing assessm

ents• Ensure claims and notices are submitted in accordance with contract requirem


ents
Require

ments• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related disci

pline• 7+ years' experience within a Quantity Surveying pos

ition• Previous experience working for a Main Contractor or General Contr

actor• Strong commercial management experience across large-scale construction pro

jects• Experience managing subcontract procurement, cost reporting, and contract administr

ation• Strong understanding of variations, claims, and change manag

ement• Excellent communication and stakeholder management s

kills• Strong commercial awareness and attention to d

etail• Data Centre, Mission Critical, Industrial, or pharmaceutical project experience would be advanta

geous• MEP or CSA package experience is highly desi
