Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Vienna. The successful candidate will support the commercial delivery of large-scale MEP and mission-critical construction packages, working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and senior commercial leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

The role offers either a rotation-based package or relocation support depending on candidate preference.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and contractual aspects of large-scale construction projects
• Support subcontract procurement, package management, and contract administration
• Prepare and manage valuations, variations, forecasting, and cost reporting
• Monitor project commercial performance and cash flow
• Support change management and risk mitigation activities
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal delivery teams
• Ensure commercial compliance and accurate project reporting throughout delivery
• Assist with final accounts and project close-out activities

Requirements

• Previous experience within a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor role
• Experience working on MEP, mission-critical, data centre, or large-scale construction projects
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding
• Experience managing subcontract packages and project reporting
• Good understanding of NEC, FIDIC, or similar contract forms beneficial
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
• Ability to work within fast-paced project environments
