Salary: Up to €95k + Rotation Package

Our client is a leading international engineering contractor delivering hyperscale data centre projects across Europe. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a major data centre development in Norway. Working on one of Europe's most significant mission-critical projects, you'll play a key role in the commercial management of complex mechanical and electrical installations from procurement through to project completion.

The Role

As Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of a major hyperscale data centre project in Norway, taking responsibility for high-value mechanical and electrical packages from procurement through to completion.

You will work as part of an experienced international project team and collaborate closely with project management, engineering, procurement and construction teams. Your focus will be on maintaining strong commercial control across your packages, ensuring costs, commitments, variations and forecasts are accurately managed and reported throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of mechanical and electrical subcontract packages.
• Prepare valuations, cost reports and commercial forecasts.
• Manage variations, claim and change control.
• Procurement and negotiation of subcontractor packages.
• Cost planning, budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
• Final account negotiation and commercial close out.
• Work collaboratively with project teams and client representatives.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks whilst maximising project value.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Previous experience on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor or other complex MEP projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial management and contract administration.
• Experience managing high-value subcontract packages.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
