Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced BIM Team Lead to join a major project based in Skellefteå, Sweden. The successful candidate will take ownership of BIM delivery across the project, ensuring effective coordination between design, construction, and project teams while driving BIM standards and best practice throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for leading a team of BIM professionals, supporting multidisciplinary coordination, and ensuring efficient delivery of complex MEP installations across a large-scale mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage BIM delivery across the project lifecycle
• Manage and support a team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians
• Ensure BIM standards, processes, and project requirements are implemented and maintained
• Coordinate closely with package managers, engineers, subcontractors, and wider project teams
• Support coordination and delivery of complex MEP installations
• Identify and manage clashes between disciplines using BIM coordination tools
• Drive issue resolution and maintain efficient project workflows
• Produce and review project drawings, models, schedules, and related documentation
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to continuous improvement and development of BIM processes and technologies

Requirements

• Previous experience in a BIM Lead, Senior BIM Coordinator, or BIM Team Lead position
• Strong Revit experience with an MEP background
• AutoCAD experience beneficial
• Navisworks experience desirable
• 8+ years’ experience working on large-scale construction projects
• Relevant degree within Engineering, Construction, BIM, or a related discipline
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines within fast-paced environments
• Previous data centre, MEP, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, or complex project experience advantageous
