Senior Project Manager – Data Center Construction
Location: Texas (Travel Required Throughout the State)
I'm partnering with a leading electrical and mission-critical construction organization to identify a Senior Project Manager with extensive data center experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to oversee large-scale data center projects across Texas.
This role offers visibility with executive leadership, direct client interaction, and oversight of multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in mission-critical construction, electrical infrastructure, and large-scale project delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee multiple data center construction projects throughout Texas
- Lead project teams through estimating, preconstruction, mobilization, execution, and closeout
- Partner with Superintendents, field teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery
- Drive schedule adherence, cost control, forecasting, and overall project performance
- Manage project financials and maintain profitability objectives
- Establish clear communication and accountability across project teams
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Develop and mentor project personnel
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
What My Client Is Looking For
- 8+ years of project management experience within construction environments
- Strong experience delivering data center, mission-critical, or large-scale electrical construction projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Experience with project financials, forecasting, procurement, scheduling, and cost controls
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to travel extensively throughout Texas to support active projects
- Track record of successfully delivering projects on schedule and within budget
