Electrical Package Manager – Hyperscale Data Centres

Are you an experienced Electrical Package Manager looking to play a key role in delivering some of the world's most advanced and mission-critical facilities?

We are seeking a driven and technically strong Electrical Package Manager to join our growing Data Centre team, delivering large-scale hyperscale projects across Europe. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a major electrical package from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, working on facilities that power the digital infrastructure behind global technology leaders.

As Electrical Package Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, commercial and technical delivery of your package, managing subcontractors, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring programme milestones are achieved. You will work alongside project leadership, design teams, clients and commissioning teams to deliver complex electrical systems to the highest standards of quality, safety and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the electrical package from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.

• Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors, supervisors and site teams to ensure programme objectives are achieved.

• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure all activities are delivered in accordance with company and project Health & Safety requirements.

• Review and coordinate design information, technical submissions, RFIs and construction drawings.

• Monitor site progress against programme and proactively identify risks, delays and mitigation measures.

• Ensure all electrical installations are delivered in compliance with project specifications, client requirements and industry standards.

• Manage package budgets, labour resources, procurement schedules and commercial reporting.

• Coordinate material deliveries, logistics and site readiness to maintain programme efficiency.

• Lead regular progress meetings with subcontractors, consultants, clients and internal stakeholders.

• Track and manage quality inspections, snagging activities and closeout requirements.

• Support testing and commissioning activities, ensuring systems are delivered in line with project milestones and client expectations.

• Provide accurate weekly reporting on safety, progress, commercial performance, risks and resource requirements.

• Collaborate closely with mechanical, CSA, commissioning and client teams to ensure successful project integration.

• Drive continuous improvement and promote best practice across all aspects of project delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.

• Proven experience delivering large-scale electrical packages on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, semiconductor or other mission-critical projects.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, busbar, containment and associated infrastructure.

• Demonstrable experience managing subcontractors, labour resources and package budgets on major construction projects.

• Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing, programme management and project controls.

• Strong understanding of quality assurance, testing, commissioning and handover processes.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and design documentation.

• Experience working within a fast-paced design-and-build environment.

• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing variations, procurement and cost control.

• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and common construction management platforms.

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
