Data Center Electrical Project Manager in Virginia, United States

I’m currently partnering with a leading contractor in the data centre construction space to find an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, large-scale mission-critical projects, with strong leadership exposure and real scope for progression.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full project lifecycle from estimation through to delivery
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans
  • Ensure compliance with safety, company, and client standards
  • Oversee on-site execution to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Manage procurement, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Conduct site visits and provide regular progress updates to senior leadership
  • Mentor junior team members and support team development

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Electrical Construction Project Management
  • Experience delivering data centre or large-scale IT/telecom infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, cabling, and white space fit-outs
  • Experience working in live/operational environments and retrofit projects
  • Confident managing deadlines, budgets, and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be authorised to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)

Nice to Have:

  • Mission-critical project experience
  • Degree in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or similar
  • PMP / PMI-SP certification
  • Experience with tools such as Google Suite, Salesforce, or ConEst
