Turnaround Engineer in European Union

Contract Length: 12–18 Months

Hours: 50 Hours per Week (Monday–Friday)

We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Turnover Engineer to join a major pharmaceutical project in Germany on behalf of a leading general contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project and play a key role in the completion and handover of critical HVAC systems.

Responsibilities -

• Manage HVAC system turnover and handover activities.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to ensure systems are completed and handed over in line with project schedules.
• Review and compile turnover documentation, test packs, and as-built records.
• Track punch-list items and ensure timely close-out.
• Support commissioning activities and liaise with client representatives throughout the handover process.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.

Requirements -

• Proven experience as an HVAC Turnover Engineer, HVAC Commissioning Engineer, or Mechanical Completion Engineer.
• Strong all-round HVAC knowledge covering AHUs, chilled water systems, ductwork, piping, controls, and associated equipment.
• Previous experience working on pharmaceutical projects is essential.
• Experience managing completions, turnover packages, and handover documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale construction projects.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Must hold an EU Passport or have German residency/right to work in Germany.
