Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

A large reputable company contractor is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer on a project in Gävle, working alongside one of the largest global hyperscalers.
The Role:
The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer would be carrying out the testing, inspections and any troubleshooting on site. You will be executing the work and reporting to the commissioning manager on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out pre commissioning and commissioning activities (L1-L5) on mechanical systems
- Assist in Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
- Supervision of Commissioning related tasks for all Mechanical Vendors
- Form and update weekly Cx Vendor progress reports for onward submission to Cx management
- Witnessing of all vendor Cx activities against approved project documentation
- The Ideal Candidate has:
- Relevant certificates in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or a Mechanical Trade with relevant training and experience e.g NVQ
- Minimum of 3+ Years’ experience in a similar role within a construction environment with experience in Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects is desirable.
- Experience of working on HVAC systems with commissioning experience (CRAC units, chilled water, pumps etc.)
- Mechanical Testing & Verification with min 3 years’ experience
- Construction experience
