The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Project Manager to join a growing team delivering large-scale mission-critical infrastructure projects in Pennsylvania.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex data centre construction projects from preconstruction through delivery, working alongside owners, general contractors, consultants, trade partners and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centre or other mission-critical construction, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive execution on technically complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of major data centre construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, procurement, quality and risk.
  • Coordinate closely with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers and specialist trade contractors.
  • Review project plans, specifications, schedules and budgets to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Drive project milestones and ensure critical-path activities remain on schedule.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, procurement and project documentation.
  • Lead regular project meetings and provide clear progress reporting to senior leadership.
  • Monitor contractor performance and hold project partners accountable for delivery.
  • Work closely with estimating and preconstruction teams on project development and planning.
  • Identify potential construction, design, procurement and schedule issues before they impact delivery.
  • Ensure projects comply with safety, quality and commissioning requirements.
  • Support the transition from construction through testing, commissioning and handover.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of construction project management experience, ideally within data centres or mission-critical environments.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, technically complex construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and the construction of mission-critical facilities.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules and contractors.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and project schedules.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts and project controls.
  • Experience working with tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar platforms is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Ability to work in Pennsylvania or relocate to Pennsylvania for the role.

Why This Opportunity?

  • Work on large-scale data centre infrastructure projects in one of the fastest-growing US markets.
  • Take significant ownership of project delivery and client relationships.
  • Work within a technically sophisticated mission-critical construction environment.
  • Competitive compensation of up to $200,000, depending on experience.
  • Long-term opportunity with a growing organisation operating in the data centre sector.
