We’re looking for an experienced Commissioning Construction Manager II to support the delivery and commissioning of large-scale hyperscale data center projects across the U.S.
This is a highly visible role for someone who understands the complexity of delivering mission-critical facilities and can operate effectively across construction, commissioning, contractors, vendors and client teams.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for helping drive projects from construction completion through commissioning and turnover, ensuring systems are installed, tested, integrated and ready for operational use.
This role will involve approximately 75% travel, working directly on major hyperscale data center projects across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate commissioning activities across hyperscale data center projects
- Work closely with construction teams, commissioning agents, subcontractors, vendors and owners
- Coordinate construction completion, system testing, commissioning and turnover activities
- Review commissioning plans, schedules, procedures and test documentation
- Track deficiencies, punch lists and outstanding commissioning activities through resolution
- Support integrated systems testing and functional performance testing
- Ensure commissioning activities align with project schedule and turnover requirements
- Identify construction and commissioning risks before they impact project delivery
- Participate in coordination meetings with project stakeholders
- Ensure safe execution of commissioning activities within active construction environments
- Maintain clear documentation and reporting throughout the commissioning process
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of construction and/or commissioning experience
- Experience delivering hyperscale, mission-critical or large-scale data center projects
- Strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical building systems
- Experience working through construction completion, commissioning and turnover
- Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and project stakeholders
- Strong understanding of project schedules, QA/QC and construction processes
- Experience with commissioning documentation, testing procedures and deficiency management
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 75%
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-growth project environments
