Senior Superintendent – Electrical Construction
West Texas | Full-Time
I'm partnering with a leading electrical construction contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Superintendent for major ground-up construction projects across West Texas.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven field leader with experience delivering large-scale electrical construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee multiple supervisors and field crews while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site electrical construction operations for large, complex projects.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.
- Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring OSHA compliance and adherence to all site-specific safety requirements.
- Coordinate project activities with project management, subcontractors, clients, engineers, and inspectors.
- Develop and manage construction schedules, manpower planning, material procurement, and equipment logistics.
- Monitor project progress to ensure schedule, quality, and budget objectives are achieved.
- Support project financial performance by assisting with forecasting, change orders, progress reporting, and cost tracking.
- Review RFIs, resolve field issues, and coordinate with engineering, estimating, purchasing, and quality teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive productivity improvements while maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience as an Electrical or Industrial Superintendent on large commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Experience leading large ground-up projects with multiple crews and supervisory staff.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical construction.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and project coordination.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with data centers, mission-critical facilities, power generation, water/wastewater treatment, or other heavy industrial projects is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel as required.
