QC Lead (Mechanical Bias Required)
Location: Fredericia, Denmark
Duration: 6-Month Contract Minimum | ASAP Start
Rotation: 3/1 | 10-Hour Days
We are seeking an experienced QC Lead with a strong mechanical background to support a major data centre project in Fredericia, Denmark. This is a site-based role, requiring daily presence on site, working closely with the client and project teams to ensure the highest standards of quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities -
- Lead and manage QA/QC activities across all mechanical scopes.
- Oversee and coordinate a team of QA/QC engineers and inspectors on site.
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
- Drive quality processes, inspections, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Delegate work effectively across the team and manage inspection schedules to ensure milestones are achieved.
- Act as the primary interface with the client, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain high-quality delivery and resolve issues promptly.
- Support field activities and provide hands-on technical guidance when required.
Requirements -
- Proven experience as a QC Lead on mission-critical projects, including data centres, pharmaceutical, or semiconductor facilities.
- Strong mechanical background with extensive knowledge of HVAC, piping, mechanical equipment, and associated systems.
- Previous experience leading QA/QC teams and coordinating inspection activities.
- Client-facing experience with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
- Strong hands-on approach with the ability to support field teams and provide practical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to delegate responsibilities and schedule work efficiently across multiple disciplines.
- Relevant Mechanical qualification.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-value project environment.
- Available for an immediate start.
- EU Passport or Danish work authorisation/permanent residency required.
