MEP Superintendent in Buffalo, NY

We're seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to join a high-performing team delivering large-scale, mission-critical data center projects across the United States. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI infrastructure while leading the installation and coordination of critical mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.

The Role

As the MEP Superintendent, you'll be responsible for leading all on-site MEP activities from installation through commissioning and final handover. You'll work closely with general contractors, subcontractors, project management teams and commissioning engineers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards. You'll be expected to take ownership of field operations, resolve issues quickly and maintain momentum on fast-paced, mission-critical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) construction activities
• Coordinate multiple subcontractors, trade partners and suppliers to maintain project schedules
• Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Drive health, safety and environmental compliance across all MEP works
• Review construction drawings, RFIs, submittals and shop drawings, identifying and resolving field issues proactively
• Manage daily site coordination meetings and communicate progress with project leadership
• Track project milestones and help mitigate schedule risks to maintain aggressive delivery targets
• Coordinate inspections, testing, start up activities and commissioning readiness
• Ensure all systems are completed in accordance with project requirements before handover
• Foster strong working relationships across construction, engineering and commissioning teams

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an MEP Superintendent on large commercial, industrial or mission-critical construction projects
• Previous experience delivering data centers, hyperscale facilities, semiconductor, pharmaceutical or other critical infrastructure projects is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems and construction sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, RFIs and technical documentation
• Excellent understanding of OSHA regulations, site safety and quality management
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades simultaneously
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with demanding delivery schedules
