Clear Recruitment are looking for a MEP Superintendent to work on a Data Center on contract basis for a leading AI Start up business.
This roll will be based in Indiana and the client are expecting the MEP Superintendent to based on site full time.
Role Scope
- Be the boots-on-the-ground leader executing large-scale, mission-critical construction from groundbreaking through commissioning and handoff.
- Own daily site operations, coordinating trades, subcontractors, GC relationships, and union representatives simultaneously.
- Enforce safety and quality standards and drive schedules to aggressive delivery milestones.
- Read and interpret complex structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, specs, and RFIs, and resolve field issues fast.
- Manage on-site logistics, materials, and equipment coordination.
- Report progress clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners.
What We're Looking For
- You've led on-site construction on large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- You've managed multiple subcontractors, GC relationships, and union representatives at once.
- You know building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards (OSHA, NFPA, NEC).
- You read complex structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, specs, and RFIs fluently.
- You manage schedules, logistics, and on-site materials and equipment.
- Bonus: Hyperscale data center construction (50MW+, $100M+ budgets). Liquid cooling or high-density power builds. Commissioning oversight.
