CSA Construction Manager – Data Centre Project (Germany)

Employment Type: Contract 6-12 months rolling
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CSA Construction Manager to join a high-profile data centre construction project in Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works on site, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all Civil, Structural, and Architectural construction activities on site.
- Ensure CSA works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, drawings, quality standards, and programme requirements.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, inspection test plans (ITPs), and work packages.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate closely with MEP, commissioning, design, and client teams to ensure successful project integration.
- Attend and lead progress meetings, reporting on project status, risks, and mitigation measures.
- Manage site logistics and sequencing of CSA activities.
- Support commercial teams with change management, variations, and cost control activities.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical and construction issues.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
Essential
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years' experience in construction management roles.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale data centre Projects.
- Strong understanding of CSA construction methodologies and best practices.
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors on complex construction projects.
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality management systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Right to work in Germany
