BMS Package Manager – Data Center Projects
Location: Frankfurt, Germany / Finland / France
Contract: Freelance
Start Date: September/October 2026
Duration: 6-12months initial contract
Rate: €45-€70 DOE
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced BMS Package Managers to join a leading Main Contractor specialising in large-scale Data Center construction projects across Europe.
We have multiple opportunities available across Frankfurt, Finland and France, offering the chance to work on major data center projects within a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.
We are also keen to speak with experienced BMS Project Managers who are looking to take the next step in their career and move into a Package Management position. If you have strong BMS project delivery experience, excellent subcontractor management skills and the ability to take ownership of a package, you will be considered for the role.
The successful candidates will take responsibility for managing the delivery of the BMS package on site, working closely with the supply chain and coordinating BMS, EPMS, ICT and Security contractors to ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the project programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of the BMS package on site
- Coordinate the BMS, EPMS, ICT and Security supply chain
- Liaise directly with specialist subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives
- Manage and control contractor scope, deliverables and responsibilities
- Ensure subcontractors are working collaboratively and meeting agreed programme milestones
- Monitor progress against project timelines and key deadlines
- Coordinate interfaces between different MEP, controls and technology packages
- Identify and resolve technical, programme and coordination issues
- Ensure works are delivered to the required quality, safety and programme standards
- Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates
- Manage documentation, reporting and package-level deliverables
- Drive the successful completion and handover of the relevant systems
Requirements
- Previous experience managing BMS projects or packages
- Strong understanding of BMS and controls systems
- Experience coordinating BMS, EPMS, ICT and Security packages
- Previous experience working for a Main Contractor, Tier 1 Contractor or specialist BMS contractor
- Strong subcontractor and supply-chain management experience
- Excellent understanding of construction programmes, milestones and deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and interfaces simultaneously
- Previous experience working on large-scale Data Center or mission-critical projects
- A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and drive delivery
- EU passport / equivalent right to work
