I'm working exclusively with an ambitious, globally recognised data center provider who are looking for a Senior Development Manager to play a key role in the rapid expansion of their US portfolio.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role that sits at the heart of the development process - from securing new sites through to handing over a shovel-ready project to the construction team. If you're someone who takes pride in bringing order to complexity and wants to build a genuine specialism in one of the most active sectors in real estate, this is a strong platform to do it.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading the development of new data center sites across the US, managing the full pre-construction lifecycle
• Supporting site selection and working closely with acquisition teams to evaluate and progress new opportunities
• Acting as the central point of coordination between internal teams and external consultants throughout pre-construction
• Managing timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure seamless handover to the construction team
• Travelling to sites as needed (~20% of the time)

What they're looking for:

• Proven experience in a development, site selection, or pre-construction management role
• Background in data centers, infrastructure, industrial real estate, or a similar sector
• A track record of taking new sites through the full pre-construction process
• Degree in construction, real estate, or a related discipline
