Procurement Manager – FM / Healthcare Location: Midlands Salary: Up too £80k + package A leading UK organisation operating across FM, Healthcare and Capital Works, with a strong focus on delivering complex projects and lifecycle services. The business is continuing to strengthen its procurement function and is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join the team. The Role As Procurement Manager, you will lead procurement activities across projects, negotiating and placing material, plant and service orders while supporting both operational delivery and work-winning activities. You will also manage and develop a small team of procurement professionals, working closely with commercial, operational and supply chain stakeholders. Responsibilities • Lead procurement activities across projects and bids • Negotiate with suppliers and manage tender processes • Produce tender recommendation reports for approval • Drive cost savings and procurement efficiencies • Manage and develop Buyers and Procurement Administrators • Support the use and development of framework agreements • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships • Progress and expedite materials and services against project deadlines • Support supply chain performance reviews • Work closely with commercial and operational teams • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance • Support pre-construction and work-winning activities • Visit suppliers and manufacturers to develop relationships and market knowledge Skills & Requirements • Proven experience in transactional and tactical procurement • MEP procurement experience • Experience working within FM / Healthcare environments • Strong supplier negotiation and tendering experience • Experience leading procurement activities on projects • Previous line management / team development experience • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Good understanding of supply chain and procurement processes • Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject is desirable For more information please contact: Sadie.martin@clear-er.com
