Operations Manager at Clear in Essex, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

£70,000 - £90,000 + Company car or car allowance + private healthcare + pension + 23 days annual leave + bank holidays + birthday off + hybrid working

This is a broad operational leadership role for an experienced BMS professional who understands what it takes to deliver projects, service and engineering activity efficiently.

You'll sit at the centre of the operation, bringing together people, projects, engineering, customers and commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day BMS operational activity.
• Manage engineering and operational resources.
• Improve processes, workflow and operational efficiency.
• Monitor project and service delivery.
• Work closely with senior management on business performance.
• Manage internal teams and external subcontractors.
• Support recruitment and workforce planning.
• Monitor KPIs and operational targets.
• Assist with commercial planning and resource forecasting.
• Maintain strong customer relationships.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure operational activities meet company standards and H&S requirements.

Desired Experience

• Significant BMS/building controls experience.
• Previous operations, service, project or engineering management experience.
• Strong understanding of BMS project delivery and service.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Commercially aware with strong customer management ability.
